Powder Coating vs. Painting

It is unfortunate that the perception of powder coating is most often limited to items like farm implements, patio furniture, and car frames. While powder coating is a great coating for these applications, CrossLinc’s business of custom powder coating has completely changed this experience within the last two decades.

We are here to reverse the perception that powder coating can only be used in an industrial application. Our process of powder coating exclusively benefits your business by providing an elegant finish unlike any other coating.

Custom

The various parts that come through our shop are each unique and must be treated as individual custom projects. We take the time to apply masking to areas such as close tolerance mating surfaces and threaded holes. We determine what the allowable thickness of the powder should be for each specific piece. Our attention is on your parts from start to finish, progressing from surface prep all the way through the curing cycle and final inspection.

Durability

If you are thinking of painting something, consider powder coating it instead. Powder is far more durable than regular paint. Since it is a baked-on finish, it has an incredible adhering property. It offers styles and effects that you cannot get from paint. With that in mind, is powder right for your application?

Take a minute to look through our FAQ page and learn more about how and where powder can be used. If you have any questions about application or anything else, please feel free to contact us!
